A little about me:
I'm JJ Typography (she/her), a self-taught digital artist, product designer, and mentor passionate about crafting bold, vibrant designs that empower and connect.
As a third-generation Filipina American🇵🇭 born and raised on Kumeyaay Land (San Diego, CA), my work is shaped by my family's artistic legacy, my love and respect of California street art, and my experiences on Ohlone Land (San Francisco, CA) studying and teaching Ethnic Studies.
I co-founded The Art of Becoming LLC and co-authored and illustrated The Art of Becoming: Self-Loving coloring workbook. I specialize in typography, illustration, and user-centered design, collaborating with non-profits and grassroots organizations to create impactful visuals that amplify voices and inspire change.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me exploring coffee shops, soaking up nature, or diving into my next creative venture.
